In Doggie Years...

Arr-TWO!!!
I don't know how old he is in doggie-years, but on April 12th my puppy-dog turned Two years old! (in people years.) They grow up so fast!!!

I got Arrtoo on June 12th, 2006, when he was 8 weeks old. Above is a picture of him wrapped up in the pillow case I took with me to keep him warm and comfortable on the ride home. He was the sweetest little youngster. below is a picture of Arrtoo and I when he was about 3 months old. It was taken on the porch of my apartment I lived in briefly in the summer of 2006.

Above is a picture of Arrtoo when he was about 9 months old. This was taken at the botanical gardens at UCR... (and in case you've never been to the gardens at UCR, let me tell you, there is nothing botanical about them.) My pup is such a good looking Dog!
This is a recent picture of my 2-year-old joy! He also happens to be a pain in my butt! As you can see from the picture above, one of Arrtoo's favorite things to do is to tear up his bed. He absolutely loves the stuffing inside! He'll tear open his bed and crawl right inside of it! This picture was taken after a failed attempt at punishing him for yet again ruining his bed. I just couldn't be so harsh with a pup this charming.
For his Birthday Arrtoo got Raw-Hide chews, and new collar tag, and lots of love!

A walk in the park

On sunday April 20th, Dave, Arrtoo and I went to Fairmont Park in Riverside for a walk. This park is an awesome park! it has little lakes, a fishing dock, play equipment, and a rose garden! While we were around the water Arrtoo was so nervous! I think he though I was gonna throw him in! Arrtoo's worst fears are bathes and the hose. (the next dog I get better be a water loving dog haha.)

While walking around we found a bike path that leads away from the park, so we decided to explore. The path was surrounded by beautiful, tropical looking foliage. So we left the path and adventured a little bit. we found a natural stream, a beautiful small forest, and we even found a bum camp! Luckily for us no one was there. In the end we found the path again and found out that it connects to the bike paths behind my housing complex. It was a very adventurous day!

SPRINGBREAK!!!

Spring Break 2008

On the Monday, 4/14, My best friend Caitlin and I went to Disneyland! I absolutely LOVE Disneyland. I feel like a part of my soul permanently resides at Disneyland and I somehow feel complete again just from being there. (Its probably just the comforting feeling of being a kid again.) I'm pictured above with Miss Alice and below with The Mad Hatter. I feel bad for these poor characters because I practically chased them down the park and pounced on them for a quick picture.

On Tuesday and Wednesday of my break I went up to visit with my Dad. He took me off roding in his jeep and gave my a tour of the fire damage in '07. It was nice spending time with my Dad and being in the house I spent so much of my childhood in. The picture above is actually not from this break, but I borrowed it for such the occasion since sadly I had forgotten to take my camera with me when I went up to visit.
Other than Disneyland and visiting with Daddy, I worked a lot during my Spring break. For the weekend we decided to have a dress up day, so we all dressed up like Nerds. Wardobes included: suspenders, glasses, high wasted/high water pants, neck ties, pocket protectors, pens, and various other nerdy apparel. It was a rather fun day and the customers seemed to get a kick out of our outfits too! (above pictured left to right: Stephan, Lisa, Me, Lisa-Marie, and Russell.)

Madilyn's Birthday

Madilyn's 2nd Birthday!

On Sunday, April 13th, we celebrated my niece, Madilyn's 2nd birthday. I got her a doodle pad for her birthday. I always loved toys like that when I was little like Madi. Here she is with her Papa, She's such a Daddy's girl!
Other than watching Madi run around giggling and popping bubbles, I enjoyed playing with Kevin and Megan's dog Lindy. She's a great, beautiful, golden, Labrador! I loved watching how happy she would get when we would throw a ball in the pool for her to retrieve.
Madilyn had the most Delicious and adorable birthday cake! in the picture above you can see how she just couldn't resist getting in a bite before it being cut and served.

Easter Sunday

Happy Easter!
Easter of 2008 we spent at Kevin's BEAUTIFUL home in Rancho. The weather was perfect and we spent the majority of the get together in their very green back yard. Kevin and Megan hosted a great Easter get-together; The food was delicious, the egg hunt was exciting, the company was good and we all had a great time. I love holidays because its really the only opportunity I get to see some of the Siana family, such as my Aunt Torrie (pictured above) and my Grandma.
It was truly a treat to watch my little niece Madilyn (above) hunt for eggs, she's only going to be 2 years old in April and she's already got quite the personality! She's such a Daddy's girl too and its adorable. I took LOTS of pictures of her hunting eggs and stuffing chocolate in her mouth. at one point she was drooling chocolate-saliva all over the place and let me tell you that little girl can make ANYTHING cute!
Grandpa took a nap on Kevin and Megan's couch in the middle of the day, that must be where I get the habit from, hehe. I love that Grandpa always wears Hawaiian shirts!
